Taste of the world — Gisborne Herald
A collaboration between Taiki e! impact house and several young artists has led to the creation of a mural for the soon-to-be-opened Globe restaurant
Designed by school students Amy Adcock and Faye Kerehoma, and assisted by Kells Hogan and others in painting, the mural depicts food from the globe's seven continents.
The Globe mural project came about after Amy, who is interested in journalism and art, joined Taiki e! Next Gen and met artist and educator Steph Barnett, who facilitates the youth-driven group on Monday afternoons.
